With DAB+ broadcast roll-out in Malta, Switzerland, Australia, Gyrosignal¡¦s 1128 modules received fairly good business these quarters. As a result, there are over a dozen customer models in repeat shipments so far this year and many more in or close to mass production. Thanks to customer¡¦s adoption and combining with 1129 DAB module take up, Gyrosignal experienced significant shipment growth over same period of last year. As more countries prepare to offer DAB+ programs, we welcome and will contribute to such efforts toward a further strengthened Digital Radio future.
Some of the customer models won several 5-star reviews and awards. These audio products come with different degrees of integration involving DAB+/DAB/FM/CD/Flash playback/iPod which creates superb media experience. Gyrosignal engineering team is glad and proud to contribute to such success.
A simpler DAB/FM radio can also be enriched by, for instance, easy to use multi-alarm, audio effect and other little details, thus enhancing product values. Customers teamed up with Gyrosignal to define, develop and better these products. A few customers placed more trust with Gyrosignal mentioned that committed, responsive and effective engineering support is not that readily available in the market and this is the reason they would continue to work with Gyrosignal. We feel grateful and will continue to offer better support in industry.
On the new market of DMB-A, Gyrosignal works closely with customers and suppliers to make sure a field proven product can be ready as soon. Further update will be available this Q4.
